1. Storage Location Management: Every shelf and storage location is assigned a unique code, and items are linked to their respective locations in the system to enable precise positioning.
2. First-In, First-Out (FIFO): Inventory turnover is ensured through dedicated shelf designs (e.g., flow racks) and clear labeling of inbound dates.
3. Clear Identification: Product name, specification, quantity, and storage location code are all clearly visible.
4. Aisles & Space Layout: Primary and secondary aisles are well-defined, with proper spacing between shelves to facilitate safe and efficient movement of forklifts and personnel.
5. Inventory Accuracy: Regular stocktaking is conducted to ensure alignment between system inventory data and physical inventory.
